EarthIntelPro (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the EarthIntelPro – Global Hazard Monitor website at earthintelpro.com and the related Android app (together, the “Service”), which provides real-time global environmental hazard alerts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.
This policy is published by EarthIntelPro, the developer of the Service.
1. Information we collect
- Email address — if you sign up to receive hazard alerts, we collect the email address you provide.
- Location information — if you sign up for alerts, we collect the location you type into the “Your Location” field. If you use the “Detect My Location” feature, we also collect your device's precise GPS location (only with your device's permission) so we can show hazards relevant to where you are.
- Usage and device data — standard technical information such as IP address, browser/device type, and pages viewed, collected automatically when you use the Service.
- Advertising data — our Service displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may collect data as described in Google's own privacy policy.
2. How we use your information
- To send the hazard alerts and notifications you've subscribed to.
- To show hazard data relevant to your location.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To serve advertising that helps keep the Service free to use.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third parties we work with
- Supabase — our backend database provider, which stores subscriber email addresses and locations on our behalf.
- Mapbox — our mapping provider, which renders the interactive hazard maps.
- Google AdSense — our advertising provider, which serves ads on the Service and may collect data per Google's own privacy policy.
- Public hazard data sources — we display, but do not collect personal data through, information from agencies including USGS, NOAA, NASA FIRMS, EPA, WHO, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, SILAM, OpenWeatherMap, CMEMS, the ASEAN Specialised Haze Agency, ECMWF, and GDACS.
We only share personal data (such as your email or location) with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the Service — we do not sell or rent it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and advertising
The Service uses Google AdSense to display advertising. AdSense and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser to serve ads, measure performance, and limit how many times you see an ad. You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can also control cookies generally through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect how ads and some features of the Service display.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your email address and location for as long as you remain subscribed to alerts. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at admin@earthintelpro.com. We will delete your information within a reasonable time after verifying your request, except where we must retain limited data to comply with law.
6. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at admin@earthintelpro.com and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International users and GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data;
